Engineering that keeps your facilities running.

INGG is an independent engineering and facility performance consultancy. We assess, document and improve the mechanical, electrical and logistics systems that commercial and industrial operators depend on every single day.

  • ASHRAE-aligned energy audits with measured, verifiable savings
  • Condition assessments and 5-year capital plans owners can budget from
  • Fixed-fee scopes — no open-ended hourly surprises

What we do

Five practice areas, one accountable team

Every engagement is led personally by a senior engineer. You get one point of contact from the walkthrough to the final report — and a document your maintenance team can actually use.

Mechanical & HVAC

Load calculations, chiller and RTU evaluations, air balance review, ventilation compliance and equipment replacement studies for buildings from 5,000 to 500,000 sq ft.

Details →

Electrical & Controls

Panel and distribution surveys, short-circuit and arc-flash studies to NFPA 70E, control system commissioning, backup power readiness and load growth planning.

Details →

Energy Audits

ASHRAE Level I, II and III audits with utility bill analysis, measure-by-measure payback modelling and rebate documentation for Florida utility programs.

Details →

Warehouse & Logistics

Racking and travel-path analysis, dock throughput studies, lighting and ventilation upgrades, and layout redesign that shortens pick cycles without new square footage.

Details →

Compliance & Reporting

OSHA 1910 facility reviews, life-safety documentation support, equipment registers, and inspection-ready reporting packages for insurers and lenders.

Details →

Capital Planning

Asset inventories with remaining-useful-life scoring, replacement forecasting and prioritised 5-year budgets that survive a finance committee review.

Why owners hire us

Independent advice, written for the people who fix things

We do not sell equipment, we do not take manufacturer commissions and we do not subcontract the engineering judgment you are paying for. That independence is the entire point of INGG.

Reports arrive with photographs, nameplate data, measured readings, prioritised recommendations and cost ranges — not a glossary of generalities. Facility managers tell us it is the first consulting document their technicians read cover to cover.

  • Senior-led engagementsYour walkthrough engineer writes your report and answers your follow-up call.
  • Predictable scheduleDraft deliverable within 10 business days of the site visit on standard scopes.
  • Measured, not modelledWe verify savings against post-implementation utility data, not spreadsheets alone.

How we work

A four-step engagement, start to finish

No mystery process. You know what happens next, what it costs and who is responsible at every stage.

Discovery call

A 30-minute conversation about the asset, the problem and the deadline. We tell you honestly whether we are the right firm — and who to call if we are not.

Scope & fixed fee

A written scope with deliverables, site-visit dates, exclusions and a fixed fee. Nothing starts until you sign; nothing is added without a written change order.

Field work

On-site data collection: nameplate capture, thermal and electrical readings, photo documentation, operator interviews and control sequence review.

Report & debrief

A draft report, a live walkthrough of the findings with your team, then the final issue with prioritised actions and budget ranges. Follow-up questions are included.

Common questions

Before you call

We work throughout Florida, South Georgia and Alabama from our Tallahassee office, and take selected national engagements for multi-site portfolio clients. Travel beyond a 250-mile radius is quoted separately and disclosed in the scope.

Standard scheduling is 5–10 business days from a signed scope. Urgent assessments — equipment failure, insurance deadlines, closing due diligence — can usually be accommodated within 48 hours for an expedite fee.

No. INGG is advisory only. We hold no manufacturer relationships, take no referral fees and have no financial interest in what you buy. If you need installation contractors we will help you write the bid documents and evaluate the responses.

A single-building ASHRAE Level I audit typically runs $2,400–$4,800. Level II work, arc-flash studies and multi-site portfolio assessments are scoped individually. Every proposal is a fixed fee with a defined deliverable list.
